WELCOME! Welcome to the website of Arizona Section of the Institute of Transportation Engineers. We are a society of transportation professionals collectively engaged in the development of multimodal transportation systems that address current and future transportation needs of our communities. If you are one of the nearly 500 members of our Section, we hope this website is a useful source of information and will help you keep in touch with professional colleagues. If you are a visitor, we hope that you find useful information here. Our monthly meetings are held over lunch on the fourth Thursday, at a location in the Phoenix metro area. Upcoming meeting announcements are posted on the homepage as well as on the Calendar. The Southern Arizona ITE (SAITE) Chapter meets monthly in the Tucson metro area. Please follow the link on the left to reach the SAITE site for information on events in Southern Arizona. We hope to utilize the website to coordinate Section Activities and will continue to add features in the future. Your ideas for improving the site are always welcome. Please send them to the webmaster or any of the board members. Thank you. Arizona Section Board • 2009-2010 Officers
