ONE ITE Task Force: ITE Leadership at the ITE District Meetings

REMINDER: All input on the Mountain District Transition Proposal are due April 12th – tomorrow! All comments should be directed to the ONE ITE Sub Task Force chair and International Vice President, Randy McCourt (rsm@dksassociates.com).

New Message from ONE ITE Task Force Chair:

We are looking forward to seeing many of you at ITE District Meetings throughout the spring. With the help of each of our Districts, and in an effort to bring us all closer together, ITE leadership—President Bruce Belmore and either Vice President Randy McCourt or Vice‐President Elect Alyssa Rodriquez—will be attending and participating in each of the district meetings this year. Your elected leaders will be providing an update on ITE activities during one of the all attendee sessions. In addition, leadership will be hosting a Town Hall to share details about key ITE initiatives, including ONE ITE, and get feedback from members. This is your opportunity to ask questions or share suggestions with ITE leadership. In addition, ITE’s Coordinating Council will be presenting a technical session on our newest Institute Initiative, Mobility as a Service (MaaS). This includes a presentation and discussion intended to elicit audience input on the importance of MaaS to the transportation community. Further input is sough on how MaaS implementation is playing out on the community level, what is needed to better understand MaaS concept and details, and what activities and products members would find most valuable. Visit the online events calendar for specific district meeting dates https://www.ite.org/events‐meetings/event‐calendar/.

Charters and Bylaws
ITE’s Districts are actively working through the model district bylaws. District Boards are currently reviewing and voting on these bylaws for approval throughout the spring. The ONE ITE Sub Task Force is currently developing model section charters and bylaws that will be presented to the International Board for the first time at the May meeting. This will then kick off the comment period where we’ll reach out to our leadership, through the International Board, to provide comments on the model documents. Please be on the lookout for notices related to the new section model charters and bylaws
and we look forward to working with you on the development of these documents.
